In 2010 I met my friend David Goldsmith at Radium Hot Springs while visiting my grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law who live in nearby Invermere. David and I talked about his giftware business, Sculptures in Pewter and before long I decided to take over the operation. In 2011 the call of our family became too strong and so my wife and I have moved to the Columbia Valley as well. For prairie people it is a constant thrill to look out at mountains and to be able to walk down to Lake Windermere from our home. I have re-named the business Small Sculptures and have worked over the past year to make contact with previous clients and to introduce the work to new shops and galleries.
